A few days ago, I experienced one of those moments that felt like pure magic.
I was riding my bike around the lake and, on my second lap, I suddenly had the urge to turn left and ride a little farther than usual.
So I followed the nudge.
I was coasting down the hill on the bike path, listening to one of my favorite songs, MC Yogi’s “All the Love in the World.” I was singing out loud, sending love to the trees, Mother Earth, and myself.
Then I came upon the most beautiful sight.
A young woman was hugging the very tree I had just been sending extra love to.
I was so excited that I turned my bike around, rode back, and joined her at the tree. I’m sure I startled her a little, but within moments we were talking and connecting like old friends.
In less than five minutes, we shared so much.
I told her about Modern Mystics Energy and invited her to our women’s circle.
That’s when she told me something that stopped me in my tracks.
She had literally just been asking the tree for someone to come along and invite her into a spiritual community.
😭🌳💛🌀
Her name is Alexis.
Some people might call this coincidence. Others might call it synchronicity, divine timing, or angelic intervention.
I simply know how it felt.
It felt like a reminder to follow the nudge.
To take the unexpected turn.
To stay open.
To trust that sometimes the connection we’re asking for may already be making its way toward us.
I’m so grateful for this incredible encounter, for the wisdom of trees, and for the mysterious ways we can find one another exactly when we’re meant to.
